Ramen from Scratch: Noodles, Broth & Balance
Step into the world of real ramen in this immersive, hands-on workshop focused on technique, flavor, and craftsmanship. Over the course of three hours, you’ll learn how to build a deeply satisfying bowl of ramen from the ground up, starting with fresh noodles made entirely by hand.
We’ll break ramen down into its essential components: rich, layered broth, umami-forward tare, springy alkaline noodles, and thoughtfully prepared toppings. You’ll mix, knead, roll, and cut your own ramen noodles, explore how broth and seasoning work together, and prepare classic elements like marinated eggs, chashu pork, and seasonal garnishes.
Once everything comes together, you’ll assemble your own custom bowl, learning how balance, texture, and temperature transform individual components into something unforgettable. We’ll finish the class by sitting down and enjoying the ramen you’ve created.
